Accessible, Inclusive and disabilty aware
The practices and beliefs we have to ensure everyone has access to The Shed and feels welcome. Inclusive policies aim to remove barriers and create an environment that respects diversity.
We are flexible, accessible, sociable and will make reasonable adjustments for people with disabilities.
Disability awareness
Inclusion, belonging and accessibility.
Disability awareness involves educating individuals about disabilities, and equipping people with disabilities with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively perform their tasks, thereby separating good practice from poor. We provide training to all our Supervisors mad leaders.

Making reasonable adjustments
Making a positive change to improve disability inclusion.
We are continually working to improving our understanding of the barriers faced by disabled people and embedding disability equality into our policies, procedures and organisational culture.
To understand what accessibility and inclusion mean in practice and how to monitor our progress, we work with our disabled members to identify priorities, solutions and timescales.
